CaseCentral Named to KMWorld’s 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management for Second Consecutive Year
SAN FRANCISCO, CA., February 24, 2010: CaseCentral, the leader in secure, cloud-based eDiscovery software for corporate counsel and law firms to simplify and take control of eDiscovery, today announced that it has been named one of KMWorld’s 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management for 2010. The list, currently in its 10th year, is compiled annually by a group of KM practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers and colleagues.
This announcement marks the second consecutive year that CaseCentral has been named one of the 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management. KMWorld also named CaseCentral a Trend Setting Product in 2008 and 2009.
“In today’s knowledge economy, CaseCentral does more than simply throw sophisticated technology at is customers, it provides real solutions through inspired planning and execution throughout the entire constituency chain,” said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld editor in chief.
The KMWorld listing continues CaseCentral’s momentum after the company completed an exceptional year in 2009, highlighted by celebrating the company’s 15th year in business, introducing the industry’s first integrated eDiscovery platform, delivering the industry’s only enterprise class disaster recovery and business continuity protocols, reporting the largest usage increase of any vendor in the annual Am Law technology survey and enabling clients to bring eDiscovery in-house via the CaseCentral eDiscovery Cloud. Additionally, CaseCentral changed the eDiscovery landscape again when it announced a connector that integrates Symantec’s Enterprise Vault Discovery Accelerator with the cloud-based CaseCentral eDiscovery Platform. The integration between these two products eliminates the need for IT and legal departments to manually export and upload large amounts of data for legal review and reclaims the days and weeks spent processing data. Clients using the new connector will bypass EDD processing fees for data moved into CaseCentral from Enterprise Vault and simplify the handoff process, removing risk by eliminating the opportunity for error.
“The future of the eDiscovery market is connecting on-premise information management and archiving software with cloud-based eDiscovery software, enabling clients to flexibly manage their information wherever it resides with the least risk, time and cost,” said Steve d’Alencon, Chief Marketing Officer, CaseCentral. “The successes in the market of CaseCentral’s cloud-based eDiscovery software are a clear indication of the leadership and value our technology and services deliver and their contribution to our highest priority – our clients’ success. We are excited to be recognized as one of this year’s 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management.”
