SAN FRANCISCO - January 18, 2006 - CaseCentral, the leader in Litigation Lifecycle Management solutions for major law firms and corporations, today announced significant enhancements to its Electronic Discovery service that improves quality and accuracy, lowers costs, and expedites processing for corporations and their law firms.

CaseCentral, the leader in Litigation Lifecycle Management solutions for major law firms and corporations, today announced significant enhancements to its Electronic Discovery service that improves quality and accuracy, lowers costs, and expedites processing for corporations and their law firms.

"CaseCentral's Electronic Discovery service now delivers advanced quality control, faster turnaround times, and higher data throughput to deliver electronic discovery seamlessly and more cost effectively," said Hinda Chalew, Vice President of Marketing for CaseCentral. "The enhanced features in CaseCentral's Electronic Discovery solution enable dispersed legal teams to manage their workload more productively and with greater certainty about the chain of custody."

The enhancements include the following:

    * Advanced Quality Control. Electronic Discovery features new automated and manual quality control functionality that reduces formatting and other conversion errors. Electronic Discovery leverages a proprietary, 180-step quality control routine automatically embedded into the conversion process. New manual validation checks now integrated into the conversion process ensure the highest degree of accuracy and accountability. Enhanced reporting creates optimum defensibility of processing, while CaseCentral's new, state-of-the-art data center offers additional safeguards that minimize the possibility of spoliation in the chain of custody.

    * Improved turnaround time. Electronic Discovery is now 40 percent faster and can deliver up to 10GBs of information. CaseCentral also loads data to the site faster, so that customers can begin reviews more quickly.

    * Increased throughput. Electronic Discovery has significantly expanded its processing capacity and can now handle up to 2 Terabytes of data and more than 50 million pages per month.

Electronic Discovery from CaseCentral provides pertinent, readable data for review attorneys through the conversion of electronic documents from a wide variety of sources into common, searchable TIFF, native, and text file formats. Electronic Discovery, coupled with CaseCentral's online data repository, enables legal professionals to implement a Litigation Lifecycle Management strategy that reduces cost, increases productivity, and improves profitability.

The enhancements to CaseCentral's Electronic Discovery solution follow a series of significant enhancements to its Online Review and Repository 4.0, announced in September and December 2005.

"These latest improvements to our Electronic Discovery solution and our recent upgrades to CaseCentral’s Review and Repository 4.0 provide a single, integrated solution that enables legal professionals to strategically manage pending and anticipated legal action and compliance activities," Chalew said.
