Christopher Kruse, President & CEO

Chris founded CaseCentral in 1993 and has been the driving force behind the vision and strategy of the Company since its inception. During his tenure with the company, CaseCentral has grown from a promising start-up to a leading, tier-one player in the eDiscovery and GRC markets. Chris has led the company through several major cycles in the legal technology and eDiscovery space, including proprietary service offerings, web-based solutions via a SaaS model, to private cloud technology and services. Chris’ leadership continues today in the dynamic eDiscovery market where eDiscovery technology intersects information management & governance strategy. CaseCentral is widely acknowledged as a pioneer in the market and Chris is a well-known industry visionary and thought leader in the legal technology community and a frequent speaker at industry events. Chris has spent over 20 years in the legal technology market, with leadership roles at LAN Systems and Joint Defense Data Inc. (JDDI) prior to founding CaseCentral. Chris is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Steven d'Alencon, Chief Marketing Officer

Steve is responsible for product management and product marketing, and for all aspects of CaseCentral's marketing and communications. Steve is a product management and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience at top enterprise software and high technology companies, including running his own marketing consultancy in Silicon Valley.

Prior to CaseCentral, Steve was vice president of product marketing at Kazeon Systems, where he transformed the company into an eDiscovery product and solutions leader before its acquisition by EMC. Steve was vice president of product management and marketing at GoRemote Internet Communications, a NASDAQ public company that was acquired by iPass and vice president of marketing for the Oracle Application Server Division where he launched the Oracle Application Server and attained a top 3 market position while helping to double division revenue.

Steve rides his bike to raise money for charity; those beneficiaries include:  The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).

Sanjay Mehta, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering

Sanjay leads CaseCentral’s software development initiatives to deliver customer value. He brings more than 20 years of engineering and product development success and has been responsible for both hosted as well as on-premise software solutions. Before joining CaseCentral, Sanjay was chief architect and vice president of engineering at Mimosa Systems, where he led the development of the company’s enterprise-class NearPoint archiving solution for multiple business purposes, including eDiscovery, compliance, storage management and disaster recovery. Sanjay was also formerly vice president of software development at ZANTAZ (now Autonomy ZANTAZ), where he led the design, development and evolution of the company’s highly scalable Digital Safe compliance archiving service, which supported a capacity of billions of messages. His product development initiatives for the enterprise archiving system created the foundational value for numerous global law firms and Fortune 25 corporations.

Sanjay holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a M.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Rob Fisher, Vice President of Sales and Field Operations

Rob is responsible for the strategic direction and expansion of CaseCentral’s world-class sales and partner organization. Rob has over 20 years of sales and senior management experience working for industry-leading companies. Previously he was vice president of global sales for Stratify, where he delivered record revenue, leading to the company’s acquisition by Iron Mountain (IRM). He also served as Managing Director of EMEA and Asia for IntraLinks, Inc. where he was responsible for IntraLinks' non-Americas sales and marketing operations based in London. Prior to joining IntraLinks, he served as Managing Director of EMEA for Currenex, Inc. Additionally, Rob served in executive sales and sales management positions at Chordiant, Oracle and Xerox Corporation specializing in document intensive vertical markets. Mr. Fisher holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Peter Gaffney, Vice President, Systems & Technical Operations

Peter is responsible for application service delivery, including systems and data center operations.  He brings in excess of 15 years of technology management, engineering, systems and operations expertise to CaseCentral.  Prior to joining CaseCentral Peter was the director of technical services for Ann Taylor Stores Inc., where he led the global infrastructure organization, as well as driving multiple technology consolidation and optimization initiatives. Prior to Ann Taylor Stores Inc., he was the director of distributed systems at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield where he led the company migration from multiple legacy platforms to an open systems platform.  Peter has also held senior technical and systems management roles at C&S Wholesale Grocers and The Condé Nast Publications Ltd.
