Tom Thimot, President and Chief Executive Officer
Tom was named president and CEO of CaseCentral in January 2008. He brings a wealth of business experience and an incredible portfolio of success at both public and private companies to CaseCentral. Tom joined CaseCentral directly from Kazeon Systems, where he was responsible for greater than 300 percent annual revenue growth. Prior to Kazeon, he served as president and CEO at GoRemote Internet Communications, Inc., a NASDAQ company that was acquired by iPass. Prior to GoRemote, he was executive vice president of worldwide sales, services and customer support for Netegrity, Inc. Tom oversaw the creation of double digit growth engines that significantly increased the public valuations of each company.Thimot also served as the vice president of central U.S. sales at Oracle, where his team grew license revenues from $50 million to more than $250 million in a two-year period. He was also a key leader in the worldwide Oracle applications vertical organization that grew revenues by more than $100 million.
Earlier in his career, Thimot held management and consulting positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture. His education includes a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University, where he also studied business administration.
Chris Kruse, Founder, Chairman of the Board, VP Business Development
Chris founded CaseCentral in 1993, and has provided the leadership and vision to build a successful market-leading SaaS legal technology company. During his fourteen year leadership term at the company, CaseCentral has grown from a start-up to a dominant tier-one player in the emerging eDiscovery and GRC market. Chris led the company through three major cycles in the market, including a host-based proprietary service, to delivering the service in a SaaS model over the internet for large cases, to the current Enterprise offering for large organizations across multiple matters. CaseCentral is widely acknowledged as a pioneer in the market, and Chris is a well known industry visionary. He is a frequent speaker at LegalTech, the worlds largest legal technology conference, and is active in many other industry groups. Under his guidance, the Company has been engaged on many high-profile projects, including litigation related to the collapse of Enron, the Insurance Brokers anti-trust kickback litigation, and the merger between AT&T wireless and Cingular. Chris has spent over 18 years in the legal technology market, with management roles at Joint Defense Data, Inc, and LanSystems.Terence Wynn, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Terry Wynn brings more than 25 years of financial management and organizational leadership to CaseCentral, including experience with early stage companies and rapidly changing organizations. Since Terry joined CaseCentral in 2000, he has been instrumental in the strategic evolution of the company as a world-class SAAS provider of evidence management solutions to the legal market. During this period, CaseCentral has experienced an average annual growth rate of 30%. In addition to overseeing the finance, accounting, and administration functions for the various entities he has been a part of, Terry's experience includes developing strategic financial plans; securing private and institutional financing; restructuring international organizations; mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, and equity carve-outs; reorganizing entities' core business strategy; driving operational decisions and maximizing earnings, cash flow and shareholder value. In the early part of his career, Terry was a practicing CPA with KPMG, and later spent several years as partner and owner of Wynn, Mason and Revak. He then served as a CFO of a privately-held, international telecommunications company (ViTel International), where he developed the management and financial reporting systems for 25 P&L centers in nine countries. In 1994, he joined Miller Freeman, Inc. serving as VP of Finance and Administration, where he led the strategic planning process as well as overseeing mergers and acquisitions and helping the company complete an equity carve-out for 60 on-line business units. Terry graduated from California State University Chico in 1978, and is a member of the Financial Executive Institute, the Association of Corporate Growth and the American Institute of CPA's.Ted Sergott, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering
Ted Sergott was named Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering in January 2008. He brings a 24-year record of accomplishment in product development, engineering, systems, and operations to CaseCentral, as well as deep experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions and large-scale databases. Prior to joining CaseCentral, Ted was the CTO for BenefitStreet, where he led the development of new Benefit platform. Prior to BenefitStreet, he was the CTO at MarkMonitor and PaymentOne where he led the development of SaaS solutions for the Internet security and the payment processing markets respectively. Ted also worked at Charles Schwab for 5 years in systems and management roles in the CRM, trading, public offering and portfolio management businesses. He earned his Executive MBA from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Madonna University in Livonia, MI.Tyler Robbins, Vice President of Customer Operations
Tyler Robbins has been an important member of the CaseCentral team for 10 years, previously serving in the roles of senior director of operations, manager of development, chief architect, and litigation support domain expert. He led the development of the first version of the CaseCentral product and managed the development and support of V2 through V4. He also built or oversaw development of other products including eConversion processing tools and DealCentral versions 1 and 2. Prior to CaseCentral, Robbins held positions with IBM Global Services and Webcor Builders. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Technical Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.Jud Coleman, Executive Vice President of Field Operations
Jud Coleman is executive vice president of field operations for CaseCentral and is responsible for all sales and partner field activities for the company. Coleman comes to CaseCentral with over 15 years of sales leadership experience. Most recently, Coleman spent four years at Stellent, where he held a number of high level management positions, including executive vice president for North American sales. As EVP, Coleman led an organization of over 80 people, and directed sales and partner activities that increased annual revenue by over 60% to more than $122 million. Stellent, a leading enterprise content management firm, was acquired by Oracle. Prior to Stellent, Coleman spent seven years in sales and sales management positions at Siebel Systems, where he was a significant contributor as it grew from a CRM start up to one of the most respected software providers in the industry. Previously, Coleman spent four years in direct and channel sales positions at Lawson, a leading ERP provider. Coleman's sales career began as a top performer at EDS/McDonnell Douglas where he spent nine years in various sales and business development roles. Coleman has received numerous honors, including being named to Siebel's President's Club (top 10%), and achieving Top Sales Representative of the Year at both Lawson and EDS/McDonnell Douglas.glas where he spent nine years in various sales and business development roles.
