Multi-matter eDiscovery - Automating and Integrating the Flow of Data

In today’s world, the vast majority of the applications used for eDiscovery only support a single case. When you create another case, another database is created and another copy of your data is created. Duplicate effort occurs across all phases of eDiscovery with such applications. Data is collected multiple times, stored multiple times and reviewed multiple times. This simple reality has many implications, not the least of which are information security, data retention and destruction and cost increases.

The ideal scenario is to use an application that supports multi-matter, multi-party eDiscovery. Such providers can eliminate duplicate data collections, de-duplicate across cases, and provide single-instance storage so each file only exists once, regardless of the number of matters in which it is included. This design also allows fewer inside resources to manage more service providers with better control. Standards such as chain of custody and production authorization are applied universally. And work product from one case can be re-used in another.

CaseCentral’s Multi-matter eDiscovery - Consolidated Analysis

CaseCentral is the first single matter and multi-matter, multi-party eDiscovery review software to integrate eDiscovery analysis, first-pass review and four corners review in a single software application, eliminating the need to transport data to additional systems for further review and eventual production, thereby decreasing risk, time and cost.

  • Faceted classification tools – helps reviewers visually analyze data sets and make faster and more accurate document decisions.
  • Tagging - No limit to the number of documents that can be included. Ability to tag documents or bulk tag entire document clusters for responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality or any user-defined designation.
  • Migration of data - Eliminates the need to transport the data to a second system for further review and eventual production.
  • CaseCentral Connector - Eliminates the need for IT and legal departments to manually export and upload large amounts of data for legal review, and reclaims the days and weeks spent processing data.
  • Document handling - Reviewers can again take advantage of near-duplication, advanced email threading and faceted classification to speed review and ensure consistent document handling

CaseCentral pioneered the use of process analytics, providing real-time measurement of review rates, quality rates and costs per document - by matter, firm or user. For more information Contact us Or Schedule a Demo.
